Anna Alvazzi del Frate
Anna started her career at the UN immediately after obtaining her PhD in criminology. For two decades she worked at UN Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI) and UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in global research projects in crime prevention and criminal justice, such as the International Crime Victim Survey, and provided capacity building in related matters to national authorities. In 2010 she joined the Small Arms Survey in Geneva, of which she was Research Director and Director of Programmes. Since 2019 she is an independent consultant for the UN and other organizations. She is currently a Vice-Chair of the Alliance of NGOs on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.
